General Information
Important information to help you get the most out of your Leger holiday.
Coaches
All U.K. coaches feature air-conditioning,
reclining seats (back row seats may not recline),
on-board toilets and drink machines. Should the
air-conditioning system break down for a period
exceeding 12 hours, compensation will be
awarded up to a maximum of £10 per farepaying
passenger per tour. Feeder coaches,
including taxis, minibuses and National Express,
operate to and from the U.K. port (feeder
coaches may not have toilets, reclining seats, airconditioning
or drinks facilities). Feeder coaches
may be operated by one driver. We operate a
passenger interchange prior to your Channel
crossing. When non-British coaches are used on
transfers or tours an on-board toilet may not be
available. However, comfort stops will be made
during long journeys. Children aged 15 and
under are not allowed to sit on the front row
seats of any coach (including the VEA shuttle
bus).
Front Row Seats
On some coaches the legroom on front seats
and seats directly in front of the washroom may
be slightly less than that available on other seats
due to the presence of a modesty board in
front.
Luggage
Due to space, weight and health and safety
restrictions, you must limit your luggage to one
medium-sized suitcase weight limit 20 kilos plus
one piece of hand luggage (max. 5 kilos) per
person. NB: Hand luggage must not be stored
under the coach seats. We reserve the right to
refuse to carry any luggage which exceeds these
limits. For air holidays, the airlines own luggage
restrictions will apply. You will be notified of
these limits with your travel documents. Many
of our suppliers, including airlines, also reserve
the right to refuse to carry luggage which
exceeds the applicable limits. Alternatively, the
supplier concerned may ask you to pay
additional charges before agreeing to carry any
excess luggage.
We cannot accept any liability towards you if
we, or any of our suppliers, refuse to carry any
of your excess luggage or the suppliers impose
any such additional charges. If, in the coach
driver’s opinion, your luggage is overweight,
you may be required to empty some of the
contents into an additional suitcase on arrival at
the port and leave it there, incurring a deposit
fee payable at the time. PLEASE NOTE: It is
your responsibility to ensure that your luggage is
loaded on the coach prior to each departure.
Please also see clause 15 of our Booking
Conditions.
Coach Crews & Tour Managers
Disneyland Paris tours will be crewed
appropriately with at least one driver and an
extra driver and/or host/hostess. Due to the
Drivers’ Regulations, there may be an occasional
day when only one driver will operate your
tour.
Reserved Seats
Seats are allocated on your main tour coach.
No Smoking
All our coaches and feeders operate a ‘no
smoking on board’ policy.
Food
In the interest of your fellow guests, do not take
hot food or ice cream on to the coach.

Sea Crossing
Channel crossings are by ferry from Dover to
Calais (90 mins) or, on selected dates, by
Eurotunnel from Folkestone to Calais (35mins).
All timings are approximate. Channel crossings
featured on any particular date may change. It is
not always possible to advise you of a change to
Channel crossings prior to the start of your
holiday.
Holidays by Eurostar
Due to restrictions on the Eurostar booking
system it is not possible to guarantee that seats
will be together. We will always do our best to
secure seating as requested but must make clear
that seating may be allocated in different
carriages or areas of a carriage. Your seat
allocation will be confirmed on your tickets.
Whilst the Train Manager is usually able to
request that guests change seats to
accommodate families, this cannot be
guaranteed. The Disney Express Luggage
Service is included for guests staying in a Disney
Hotel and travelling on the direct Disney train.
However, there are occasions when this service
may not be available and we will notify you if
we are unable to provide this service.
All Eurostar seats are subject to availability.
There maybe an additional cost if the seat class
we include is unavailable at the time of booking.
Holidays by Air
All our air holidays feature flights which are
subject to availability and price, therefore there
may be an additional cost if the flight class we
include is unavailable at the time of booking.
Under these circumstances we will offer you the
opportunity to book at a higher cost or to select
an alternative date. Please call our reservations
staff for more information. The weight
allowance for luggage will be confirmed on your
tickets. If your baggage exceeds the allowance
an excess will be charged by the airline. Please
ensure your baggage is marked clearly. Return
airport transfers are included between Paris
Charles de Gaulle airport and Disneyland Resort
Paris. You will be collected by either a Leger coach or you will be sent tickets for the VEA
shuttle bus service, which operates regularly
between Charles de Gaulle airport and
Disneyland Paris. For flights arriving outside the
operating hours of VEA, we can arrange a taxi
for a supplement. Exact flight times and flight
numbers will be sent to you and shown on your
air ticket or on your final travel documents.
Please see clause 17 of our Booking Conditions.
We cannot confirm specific seats for you on an
aircraft. We recommend you check-in for your
flight two and a half hours before the scheduled
time.
Self-Drive Holidays
Channel crossings are by ferry from Dover to
Calais. Eurotunnel crossings are available at a
supplement. You will be allocated the closest
available crossing to your preferred time. There
is no extra charge for cars over 1.83 metres in
height, however, you must always advise us as
we may need to book a high space for you.

time at all hotels is 3pm and check-out time is

Disney® Parks & Attractions
As you would expect, it is necessary from time
to time for Disneyland® Paris to close certain
rides, attractions and facilities for such purposes
as routine maintenance, safety checks,
refurbishment and updating. It is rare, however,
for more than one ‘main attraction’ to be closed
at any one time. We are certain you understand the need for this, and hope that any such
closure will not detract from your enjoyment of
your holiday. Where a ‘Hopper’ ticket has been
included, admission to the Disneyland® Park
and Walt Disney Studios® Park is subject to
park capacity.
Christmas & New Year at Disneyland® Paris
On New Year’s Eve, for guests staying in a Paris
outskirts hotel, there may be a charge payable
locally to enter Disney® Village. Entry is subject
to capacity.
Documents
Your travel documents containing departure
times, hotel details and coach seating will be
dispatched approximately 10 days before
departure. Please check these documents
immediately on receipt. It is your duty to ensure
you have correct and valid documentation. We
will not accept responsibility or any liability in
respect of those passengers who do not have
the correct valid documentation (including
passports and visas).
Passport and Visas - It is your responsibility to ensure you have a
valid passport and any required visa(s) for your
chosen holiday. Due to new border authority
regulations we are required to provide relevant
authorities with passport information prior to
departure. We will therefore ask you to provide
us with the relevant information before you
travel. British Citizens: A full British passport is
required by everyone, including infants and
children. British passports usually take 2 to 4
weeks to obtain but can take longer. France
require up to 6 months’ validity on a passport
from your return date. There are no visa
requirements for European holidays for British
citizens. All costs incurred in obtaining such
necessary documentation must be paid by you,
except where specified above. If you are 16 or
over and haven’t yet got a passport, you should
apply for one at least six weeks before your
holiday. The U.K. Passport Service has to
confirm your identity before issuing your first
passport and will ask you to attend an interview
in order to do this. Both non-British citizens and
British citizens should check the passport and
visa requirements with the consulate of the
country being visited or travelled through in
good time before departure.
Currency
You will require local currency (Euros) to use
during your holiday. Exchange facilities are not
guaranteed in any of the hotels we use. There
are cash machines in and around Disneyland®
Resort Paris.
Health Requirements
At the time of going to print, there are no
compulsory health requirements for any of the
holidays we offer for holidays in Europe.
However, this situation may change. It is your
responsibility to ensure you are aware of all
recommended vaccinations and health
proportions in good time before departure.
Details are avaliable from your GP surgery and
from the National Travel Health Network and
Centre www.nathnac.org Information on health
is also contained in the Department of Health
leaflet T7 (Health Advice for Travellers) available
from the Department of Health on 0870 1555
455 or via its website www.dh.gov.uk and most
Post Offices.
Medical Services
The European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)
has replaced the old E111. If you are a U.K.
resident, you are entitled to medical treatment
that becomes necessary, at reduced cost or sometimes free, when temporarily visiting a
European Union (EU) country, Iceland,
Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland. Only
treatment provided under the state scheme is
covered. However, to obtain treatment you will
need to take a EHIC with you. NB: For
customers travelling to the Channel Islands your
EHIC card is not recognised. You must check
your own Travel Insurance Policy will cover
your medical costs in the Channel Islands.A
EHIC provides limited protection and is not a
substitute for travel insurance.
Applying for a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)
You can apply for a EHIC online, by phone or
by post. You can apply for an EHIC for your
spouse/partner and any children up to the age
of 16 (or 19 if they are in full-time education) at
the same time as applying for your own. If you
are a foster parent or guardian (including
boarding school teaching staff), you can apply on
behalf of any children you are looking after. You
must be over 16 to apply as a main applicant.
Before you apply, you will need to have the
following information to hand for everyone you
are applying for:
- Name and date of birth
- NHS or national insurance (NI) number
Please see our website
www.leger.co.uk/CustomerServices/GeneralInfo
rmation or our comfirmation booklet (section
Applying for a European Health Insurance Card)
for full details of how to apply.
Your Destination
The general standards of safety, hygiene, fire
precautions, seat belt laws etc. vary from
country to country and can, in some instances,
be lower than you are used to in the U.K. The
monitoring and enforcement of such matters is
governed by the authorities of the country and
overseas supplier of the services concerned. It is
the requirements and standards of the country
in which any services which make up your
holiday are provided which apply to those
services, and not those of the U.K.
Travel Advice
The Foreign and Commonwealth Travel Advice
Unit may have issued information about your
holiday destination. You are advised to check
this information on BBC2 (Ceefax) page 470
onwards or on the internet at
www.fco.gov.uk/knowbeforeyougo.
Alternatively, you can contact the FCO Travel
Advice Unit on 0870 606 0290.
Kids & Infants
Kids prices apply when the child is 3-11 years of
age (2-11 years on air holidays) at the time of
return travel, anyone aged 12 and over is
classed as an adult. Customers aged 17 and
under at the time of return travel must be
accompanied by an adult, parent or guardian
aged at least 18 years old.
COACH HOLIDAYS We would suggest that
parents bring with them suitable toys and games
to amuse children on the journey to
Disneyland® Paris. Infants (aged 0-2 yrs
inclusive at the time of return travel) will be
allocated a seat on the coach and if they are too
young to use a lap-strap seatbelt you should
provide a suitable car seat. However, please
bear in mind that the seat will only have a lapstrap
which is unlikely to be suitable for use with
most car seats designed for infants aged 0-2 yrs.
Prices on coach holidays for infants are FREE (27
Jan - 24 Mar 2011) or £40 (all other dates).
EUROSTAR HOLIDAYS On Eurostar infants (0-
2 yrs) will not be allocated a seat and will not be
charged. A seat can be reserved at a
supplement – please call for details.
SELF-DRIVE HOLIDAYS Infants (0-2 yrs) will
not be charged on self-drive holidays.
AIR HOLIDAYS Infants on air holidays (0-1 yrs)
can not be allocated a seat and will not be charged. Infants aged 2 years, on the date of
return, will pay £110 plus any additional flight
supplement. A cot will be provided in the hotel
room, which must be requested upon arrival at
the hotel reception (one cot per room only).
We reserve the right to refuse to carry any
passenger not complying with the above, and
levy full cancellation charges as detailed in the
Booking Conditions.
PREGNANT WOMEN Due to circumstances
such as rough conditions on ferry crossings and
changes in air pressure on board aircraft,
women who are more than 28 weeks pregnant
at the time of departure are not permitted to
travel on our holidays. We reserve the right to
refuse to carry anyone more than 28 weeks
pregnant at the time of departure and who has
failed to declare this at the time of booking.
