Our trip to Paris Disney in March this year was an amazing experience from the moment we joined the coach to when we were dropped off at the end of the trip. We travelled with our grandchildren Ben and Holly, who have never stopped talking about all the fun it had been.
Confident that it could only be good after travelling with Leger on a tour to Russia last year, which was one of the best holidays we have ever had thanks to Leger’s efficiency of service and organisation, we did not hesitate to choose Leger for our Disney trip.
For us a good holiday entails total peace of mind, which comes with the knowledge that you are in the capable hands of very experienced personnel, we were impressed by their Silver Service-a cut above the usual coach holiday and even more comfortable than we expected, and so much more civilised than being herded through airport terminals.
The drivers/tour guides made every moment enlightening, enjoyable and stress-free and left us with indelible memories of a wonderful holiday.
Day 1: After setting off from the pleasant ferry crossing in Calais to the Disney resort we were entertained with Disney movies so the experience started long before arriving at the ‘cowboy themed’-Cheyenne hotel, where we were to stay for the next three nights. The hotel was very good, perfect for families and we all loved the western themed setting, which was also reflected in the rooms and all the public areas.
Day 2: After a good night’s sleep and a lovely breakfast, we headed for the conveniently parked shuttle buses that were to take us to the parks. The shuttles provide a very regular service so there’s not much waiting about. Arrival at the first of the two parks spelled out non-stop fun for us all and at 68 and 72, we became kids again and didn’t miss out on any of the rides, roller coasters, meeting the Characters and finally the spectacular parade.
Day 3: The Studios were another fantastic setting and proved to be another fun-filled day where we packed in most of the amazing shows and more exciting rides and roller coasters. We visited the Hollywood Tower of terror twice, and had two goes on the Buzz Light-year ride. The Pirates of the Caribbean ride was voted best of all by the four of us. The queues tended to be long for the most popular rides and shows but everyone was content to wait in anticipation of what was afoot and the fast track system was good for alleviating waiting times on a couple of rides per day. All in all it was magic!
Day 4: Day four we prepared for the journey home. Again the drivers took charge and looked after us all, treating us to more Disney movies and making the transition of changing coaches for the ferry and onwards to our drop off points a seamless and enjoyable experience. Regular comfort stops were made throughout the journey to and from Paris, which gave us all time to stretch our legs from time to time and enjoy the company of our fellow passengers. The coaches were spotlessly clean as usual and we were regularly offered hot and cold drinks by the drivers.
We will certainly travel with Leger again and of course recommend Leger Holidays for excellence of service and customer care. May I take this opportunity to say thank you again to Michael and Nick for helping to make this trip a memorable experience.
If I had to sum up Leger Holidays in a single statement, I would say ‘Leger Holidays are a Cut above the Rest’.

Our coach arrived on time at Gloucester Bus Station. The drivers welcomed us and were very considerate in dealing with my wife who uses a wheelchair. The coach was very clean, tidy, nice and warm as it was a cold morning. We set off and the driver explained that this was a feeder coach taking us to Folkestone to meet our tour coach Just before we arrived in Folkestone; he explained how the change over worked which was done very smoothly.
George and Joan welcomed us aboard and after a bit of banter between the drivers and passengers, which set the tone for a friendly and relaxing journey to Disneyland Paris. We arrived at Hotel Cheyenne and whilst Joan helped us get our luggage, George went to the reception to get our hotel documents and he also gave us a phone number in case we had any problems.
The accommodation was very comfortable and a nice touch was the welcome message on the television welcoming us to Disneyland. Our Granddaughter, Tilly and her friend Bethany had a great time on the rides and running around having their photos and getting autographs of the characters.
The food was very good and plentiful. The girls were intrigued by the bendy buses that took us to and from the parks. Although it was very cold, we had a great time.
On the morning of departure, the coach turned up on time and we set off to Calais. We arrived early and the change over at the Truck stop was quick and easy. The new driver got us onto an earlier train and we still had time for a quick visit to duty free.
At the border, the driver arranged for my wife to stay on the coach saving us getting the wheelchair out. On the way back to Gloucester, we had a trip through London and the drivers pointed out all the main buildings. The girls were delighted as they have never been to London.
We arrived back in Gloucester an hour early, which was great. Very tired but happy please thank all the drivers they were 1st class as was the service we received.
Once again many thanks. Mr and Mrs Davis - March 2013
My boyfriend and I took our 3 year old son on a day trip to Disneyland Paris yesterday, for the 2nd year
running. We travelled via self-drive / ferry, arriving just as the parks opened and left when the park shut.
We had a great time however it was bitterly cold at -8’c and even with many layers on we were frozen. On the
plus side, there were hardly any queues for the rides and went on a few more than once.
Our son is Disney Cars mad - he loved the cars ride along with seeing all the Disney Pixar characters. There
really is too much to do in one day, we would love to go via Eurostar next year and stay overnight. - March 2012
Had a great time last week, even with the French half term busy-ness! Can't wait to go back, for longer this
time and preferably when it's not so busy! Thank you!! :) - March 2012
We went to Disneyland last thursday and had a lovely time :-) - March 2012
We would like to thank you for a wonderful holiday. My girls enjoyed the Parks, they met so many of their Disney
Characters - my eldest has over 20 autographs from all the Characters!
We booked the Hotel Newport Bay which
was only 5 minute walk to Disney Village and the parks, all the staff were very kind and most helpful. The swimming
pool being open till 10pm was also very useful.
Food was not the cheapest option compared to eating out in the
UK, we fed a family of 4 for 70-80 euro per evening. Using the discount vouchers provide from our room package we were
able to get discount in the Rain Forest Cafe. Service there was excellent and staff were brilliant with the children.
The Wild Wild West show was also very exciting.
This has been a really brilliant holiday, and we can not wait
to go back.
As a driver I would highly recommend using the Eurostar option as this meant that I was also
able to relax as well as the rest of the family. For 11 euro the hotel are able to transfer all baggage to
the Eurostar station so that you can enjoy a day trip on your last day and not worry about things. - March 2012
Got back about 2am from our magical 2 days at Disney, thank you so much, it was fantastic and all my 5 year old daughter's dreams came true. We had the most amazing weather too :-) - March 2012

Had an amazing time at Disney my granddaughter loved it ;-) she met her favourite princess snow white she couldn't stop smiling... - March 2012
Had a fantastic time now want to go again, the kids and adults were entertained throughout :) - March 2012
My family - 3 young girls my husband and I did this trip last year - we had such a fantastic time we did it again this year. We were not disappointed all I can say is nobody does it quite like Disney - the parks, the rides and the characters are
simply magical! My youngest is 3 years old and a huge Mickey and Minnie
Mouse fan once again we met them and the look on her face says it all. The
characters are all delightful. All I hear in my house at the moment is "when we go back to Disneyland ". Thank you so much - March 2012
We stayed at the Cheynenne hotel, which was lovely and set out as a western village. We had one of the furtherest away rooms from reception and were allocated an upstairs room - which was slightly awkward as we had a buggy and lots of luggage with us. there was no lift. I was impressed that breakfast was included as part as the offer as from experience, you don´t usually get breakfast with your room in France unless you pay extra on arrival. Usually a French breakfast is a simple coffee and croissant, but there was a big buffet to chose from at the hotel which was great! There were several characters who you could have your photo taken with after breakfast. we met minnie mouse. we then checked out and headed off on the FREE bus to disneyland for the day. getting into the park was simple. i went with my document and passport to the donald duck booth and they gave me tokens to pass through the turnstile. the park was great and we met loads of disney characters, went on most of the rides in the main park and saw the parade at the end of the day. even though we travelled in january, the weather was beautiful. we took a pack lunch to the park and were able to eat it on a bench, near the princesses´castle. we ended up running out of time. we had hoped to visit thother park next door, but there was simply too much to see in one day and my little girl fell asleep in her buggy anyay after all the excitement of the parade. we had a great time and would like to thank ledger holidays and the sun for allowing us the opportunity to visit disneyland paris on our strict budget. we hope to collect the tokens and go back again next year. - March 2012
